At INEOS Styrolution, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer for our world-scale ABS plant. Get involved in an impressive work environment in the port of Antwerp with new and innovative technology. As a Mechanical/ Maintenance Engineer, you are responsible, along with your team, for the mechanical maintenance of our ABS plant. Your contribution will directly impact our operational efficiency and the reliability of the plant. You will report directly to the Maintenance Manager Polymers.

  • You have day-to-day leadership of a team consisting of a supervisor, work planners, and technicians. 
  • You promote EHS performance and encourage team and individual training and development. 
  • You achieve success and results by coaching and guiding your team.
  • You support the ABS plant and ensure cost-effective maintenance in accordance with desired availability and reliability. 
  • You are the technical contact person for asset managers, contractors, and other internal and external customers.
  • You ensure that work is carried out safely and address colleagues if necessary.

Dit ben jij

Dit zoeken we in onze Maintenance Engineer at INEOS - Antwerpen

  • You have a master's degree in Electro mechanics, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Affinity with an industrial or chemical environment is a plus.
  • You speak and write fluent Dutch and English.
  • People Management skills: Such as leadership, coaching, advising, and guiding. Collaborating with diverse teams and communicating at various levels of the organization.
  • You are good at thinking customer-oriented and creating support.
  • Technical knowledge: You keep an eye on costs and budgets.
  • You have knowledge of technical specifications, guidelines, and legislation or are willing to acquire them.
