Are you administratively strong, customer-focused, and do you have an affinity for logistics processes? Then we are looking for you!
As a Customer Service Logistics Representative, you will be responsible for the operational and administrative handling of inbound and outbound orders. You act as the link between customers, carriers, and internal departments, ensuring that all logistics processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable procedures and regulations.
You will report directly to the Customer Service Supervisor.

What do you do?

  • Process customer orders according to agreed requirements and procedures.
  • Create and maintain customer files and records.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for existing customers regarding operational matters.
  • Coordinate special customer requests with internal departments.
  • Manually enter incoming orders into the system.
  • Review and release orders received through automated systems.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to customers and colleagues.
  • Collect loading and unloading information.
  • Prepare transportation and customs documentation.
  • Translate customer requests into clear operational work instructions.
  • Register and process loading and unloading orders in the IT system.
  • Process transportation data and update transport movements in the system.
  • Monitor inventory movements, handling activities, and additional services administratively.
  • Financially close and archive customer files.
  • Create and maintain new item master data in the WMS system.
  • Perform checks related to ADR goods and chemical products.
  • Monitor the quality and completeness of administrative processes.
  • Possess basic knowledge of chemical goods or be willing to follow internal training.
  • Complete the AEO Awareness Training and AEO Learning Tool program (or be willing to obtain these certifications).

This is who you are

This is what we are looking for in our Customer Service Logistic at Broekman Logistics

  • Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of the German language is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with WMS, ERP, or other logistics systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent administrative skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritize tasks.
