About the role
As a Support Engineer, you are the first point of contact for end-user IT support. You ensure that workplaces, laptops, printers, mobile phones, and connectivity function properly. This role focuses on user support rather than core infrastructure.
 
Key responsibilities
  • Provide on-site and remote IT support (laptops, printers, phones, peripherals)
  • Set up and maintain user workplaces (monitors, docking stations, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot basic connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, network access)
  • Manage company mobile phones and support basic applications
  • Handle service desk tickets (Jira) within SLA and document solutions
  • Maintain hardware inventory and prepare devices for reuse
  • Support multiple locations (Venlo, Utrecht, Tilburg, Zaandam)
  • Coordinate with IT teams and external vendors when needed

This is who you are

This is what we are looking for in our Support Engineer

  • Hands-on IT support experience (internships also considered)
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g. Jira)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 is an advantage
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel occasionally between locations (Tilburg, Zaandam, Utrecht)
  • Valid driving license (mandatory)
  • Fluent in Dutch and/or English
