For our client in Wessem we are looking for a Key User II to strengthen the IT and operations team.

As a Key User, you will act as the vital link between operations, IT, and external suppliers. You ensure that the Warehouse Management System (WMS) runs smoothly and that colleagues on site receive the support they need.

The Key User II is responsible for first-line IT support on site, with a strong focus on the Warehouse Management System (WMS). You will troubleshoot, train end-users, ensure process improvements, and contribute to the continuous optimization of IT solutions at the site.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line IT support for the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and act as the first point of contact for users on site.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve WMS-related issues and escalate to central IT or vendors when necessary.
  • Identify improvements in IT processes and systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain and develop local IT processes, manuals, and work instructions.
  • Train and support end-users to ensure efficient use of WMS.
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse operations, the business support manager, central IT teams, and external vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and actively contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Contribute to environmental performance goals, reducing energy, waste, and emissions.

Dit ben jij

Dit zoeken we in onze Key User

  • Completed MBO level 4 or higher education in Supply Chain, IT, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role (e.g. Key User, IT Support, WMS Specialist).
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (both written and verbal).
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, multicultural, and international environment.
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills; financial insight is a plus.
  • Ability to train and guide colleagues, with a people-focused approach.
