Loads and unloads vessels in a safe and efficient way serving clients in an optimal way. Develops technical skills on the job to perform routine work activities using existing standard operating procedures. Completes assigned tasks with a close to moderate degree of supervision. In this role, you will be using standard operating procedures to complete well-defined activities to develop the technical skills required to perform routine tasks. 
 
You will need to understand how these assigned tasks relate to other jobs and be able to exchange information in routine situations within your workgroup. It is your responsibility to use existing procedures to resolve straightforward problems with limited opportunities to independently modify procedures or work processes. You are accountable for managing your assigned tasks and the accuracy of your own work. You will receive close to moderate level of supervision and guidance in this role

What do you do?

  • Loads and unloads the vessels under supervision of the panel operator and the team coordinator of the group.
  • Responsible for shipping paperwork.
  • Investigates defects in a structured way and follows up
  • Ensures equipment is clean and pressure free on time for maintenance
  • Supports activities from contractor firms on site
  • Ensures logistics activities and performance are aligned with department and business goals
  • Uses troubleshooting skills to resolve process, product quality, safety, and environmental problems
  • Performs minor maintenance repairs, improvements and preventative maintenance utilizing appropriate procedures, processes and disciplines
  • Uses knowledge and skills to make improvements in warehouse and load rack performance and Operating Discipline
  • Acts as focal point for all contract operations in the respective logistics area, including: Prioritizing daily tasks, providing direction on facility operation, and escalating issues to contract supervision

  • Experience: 0-2 years
