For our client Trinseo, we are looking for a Logistics Service Representative for a temporary assignment of 6 months. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating logistics activities and ensuring that materials are delivered safely, on time, undamaged, and with the correct documentation.

As a Logistics Service Representative, you will act as a key link within the supply chain and work closely with internal departments, customers, and logistics service providers.
 
  • Shipment Monitoring: Monitor timely shipments and administer logistics transactional movements.
  • Changes & Exceptions: Manage logistics changes and exceptions requiring special arrangements.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify, escalate, and resolve issues, including quality notification tracking and management.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external partners, including during urgent situations.
  • Invoice & Claims Handling: Review and approve invoices, claims, and accessorial charges.
  • Process Improvement: Drive improvements through root cause investigations, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Exception Management: Manage process exceptions by transport mode, site, customer, country, business unit, and related dimensions.

Dit ben jij

Dit zoeken we in onze Logistic Service Representative bij Trinseo

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Technology, or a related field. Candidates with other relevant educational backgrounds will also be considered.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a relevant service-oriented role such as Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Customer Service, Finance, or Supply Chain.
Industry Background: Experience in the chemical, safety, or transportation industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
Skills: Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach.
