As a Team Leader II, you are at the heart of warehouse operations, leading a team of at least 40 associates to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day activities. You will implement warehouse action plans, drive performance, and foster a positive, safety-conscious work environment. This role is a key contributor to delivering exceptional service to our clients while promoting continuous improvement and team development.

  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates to optimize team performance.
  • Manage daily operations and ensure all operational KPIs are met.
  • Assign tasks, monitor work accuracy, and maintain documentation of processes.
  • Foster a safe and positive work environment, resolving employee issues and applying corrective actions when necessary.
  • Coordinate start-up activities with cross-functional teams.
  • Make operational recommendations regarding hiring, performance evaluations, promotions, and terminations.
  • Plan and schedule personnel to support all shifts and accounts efficiently.
  • Interact daily with internal and external customers at an operational level.
  • Ensure compliance with GXO Health & Safety standards and contribute to environmental performance initiatives.
  • Adhere to legal, GXO, and industry standards while promoting continuous improvement initiatives.

Dit zoeken we in onze Teamleader

Requirements:
  • Intermediate Vocational Education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of operations experience in a similar warehouse leadership role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
  • Experience with LEAN warehousing principles.

Skills: 
  • Self-driven, resilient, and proactive in a challenging environment.
  • Comfortable working in diverse, international teams.
  • Committed to high-quality work with a professional, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong reporting, presentation, and financial skills.
  • Technically knowledgeable and eager to continue personal development.
