For our client in Geleen, we are looking for a technically skilled production operator who enjoys working in an environment where safety, accuracy, and technology are key.
In this role, you will work at the inspection station where acetylene gas cylinders are checked, sorted, and prepared for use. You ensure that all cylinders comply with applicable regulations and safety standards. The work mainly consists of routine tasks, combined with technical activities such as maintenance and mechanical work.
 
For this specific position, we are looking for someone who can operate the blasting and painting line. This involves physically demanding work, as you will be hanging gas cylinders onto the blasting line.

  • Sort gas cylinders based on type, country of origin, and specific regulations
  • Inspect cylinders for defects and check the functionality of valves
  • Test and, if necessary, reject gas cylinders according to applicable guidelines
  • Operate machinery such as blasting and spraying installations
  • Modify and connect gas cylinders that are linked in series based on customer orders
  • Perform minor technical maintenance and mechanical work on machines and installations
  • Work in accordance with strict safety and quality regulations related to acetylene gas

Dit ben jij

Dit zoeken we in onze Technical Production Operator

  • MBO level (vocational education) working and thinking level
  • Preferably experience in a technical or production environment
  • Technical insight and affinity with mechanical work
  • Forklift certificate and/or VCA is a plus
  • You work accurately and have a strong sense of responsibility, especially considering the safety regulations surrounding gas cylinders
  • You are comfortable performing routine tasks
